Container Gardening Recipes

Container Gardening Recipes

Spring is finally here in PA! I love this time of year because Mother's Day is our frost-free date. That means it's pretty safe to plant annuals and I get to do my favorite type of gardening - container gardening.
We are very blessed here in SE PA to have lots of Amish and Mennonite growers. This gives us lots of choices for finding great plants.

Choices for plant shopping range from a tiny roadside stand at the entrance to a farm to a commercial greenhouse and market. This week I decided to go out just a few days early because I know the Saturday before Mother's Day will be crazy!

I picked up some great things and as soon as I get them in their containers, I'll do another post and show you what I came up with. But to help you get started here are a few ideas from previous years.
