Spring is finally here in PA! I I love this time of year because Mother's Day is our frost-free date. That means it's pretty safe to plant annuals and I get to do my favorite type of gardening - container gardening. I managed to sneak out a work this week to get a head start. I'll be sharing my finds and combinations in another post.
But til then, I thought I'd share some of my previous container plantings. Read on to get some spring inspiration.
You don't need a big garden to grow herbs. Every summer I grow them on the sunniest part of my deck in pots. Herbs make great container plants. They love lots of sun and well-drained soil. You can really get creative and not just grow them together in their own containers but add them to your floral containers as well. In the past, I have used chives instead of spikes for height in the center or back of larger container. I've also added trailing herbs like different varieties of thyme to the front of containers.
Read on to find out are my top 8 must have herbs that live on my deck every summer.
